This task had focus on making a concept and a solution that was soundly based, comprehensive and solution – through plan and furnish kitchen with dining area and bathroom for customer. The customer was a family of three, soon four, who was moving to a new house. They were a creative and active family who enjoyed cultural activities and design. They like to travel and have lived many years abroad. They are a natural link among their friends and they often gather for a nice time.

The concept I came up with for this family was “City Park”. I wanted to give the family a sense of the calming feeling you get when you are in a park with the excitement of being in a big city. In the kitchen I wanted to create division between the park and the city. I did this with the use of colours and materials in the room. In the bathroom I wanted to give the sense of the calm nature with hints of the city.
